Welcome to…
…your path back to wholeness.
About Me
I have practiced yoga for 30 years, having started while working as a school teacher in the UK. I enjoyed the physical and mental strength it provided, and the calm and focus it brought at a time when I worked in a very challenging environment. Since then I have been lucky enough to practice different styles of yoga in different parts of the world but what has stayed constant throughout is the positivity and grounding yoga gives me regardless of where and how I practice.
During the pandemic, I discovered the value of teaching people one-on-one. Seeing firsthand high levels of physical and mental stress led me down a new path to Yoga Therapy. I came to recognize how helpful different yoga techniques are in helping people manage their own specific struggles.
I am a 500 hour certified yoga teacher additionally certified in Yoga Therapy through the International Association of Yoga Therapists (C-IAYT). I am a trained Meditation Mentor (Breathing Deeply Meditation Teacher Training). I am also a certified Pelvic Floor Yoga Teacher (Leslie Howard Pelvic Floor Yoga Teacher Training). I am fully insured.
“Yoga allows you to rediscover a sense of wholeness in your life, where you do not feel like you are constantly trying to fit the broken pieces together”

FAQ

Yoga therapy can be used to help with a wide range of physical and mental health conditions. I work one-on-one with people of any age to help them learn skills to manage their own condition. I teach any or all of the tools of yoga (movement, breathing, meditation and philosophy) depending on the client’s individual needs.
Clients learn skills to take home and practice between sessions that are designed to fit in with their schedule and lifestyle. These practices are changed or built on depending on what is and isn’t working for the client. Yoga therapy is highly individualized and targeted, differing in that way from a more typical yoga practice.
It is also a collaborative process between Yoga Therapist and client which makes it different from Physical Therapy for example.
